We work with local, municipal, state, federal and resource agencies to assess future transportation demands and trends to develop context-sensitive solutions for implementation in the short-, medium- and long term. This includes policy planning, land planning, systems planning, corridor planning, feasibility studies, thoroughfare planning, and travel demand modeling and forecasting.
We bring together a team of highly skilled individuals with decades of experience managing, developing and delivering projects from planning, to design and final implementation. Our innovative solutions to the transportation systems include developing a comprehensive approach that addresses all current and future modes of transportation. Our team is well respected at the local, state, and federal level, with experienced individuals striving to improve safety, multimodal mobility, and reliability. Our areas of expertise include schematic design, final geometric design, intersection design/grading, retaining walls, storm sewer/culvert design, water and wastewater design, traffic control plans, signing and pavement markings, erosion control plans, SWPPP, railroad coordination/design, utility coordination/design, bicycle & pedestrian facilities, cross sections and earthwork.
We understand that the safe and efficient movement of people on our roads requires that the needs of both motorized and active modes of transportation are considered. We offer a variety of traffic engineering services including traffic studies, traffic modeling and simulation, traffic operations, traffic signal timing, access management, parking studies, and bicycle/pedestrian amenities.
We offer an extensive range of H&H services for all phases of project design including, feasibility concept studies, condition assessment and rehabilitation design of existing facilities, as well as the complete analysis and design of new systems. This includes stormwater management, flood plain analysis, scour analysis, design of hydraulic structures, permitting, detention basins, outlet structures, and impact analysis/mitigation plans.
We begin with identifying and coordinating efficient and cost effective solutions for utility adjustments, providing documentation, and field verification of utility adjustments. Our services provided extend from early concept through project completion phases and include records research and prepare utility mapping services, utility engineering, preparation of TxDOT standard documentations and utility agreements, and field verification of utility adjustments.
We understand any project is made up of various engineering disciplines to achieve final completion. However, based on assignment size and/or complexity, the skills of a program manager are required to achieve on-time and on-budget completion goals. The program manager looks at the “big picture”, interfacing with the various project disciplines with proper focus on scope, schedule and budget qualified and experienced program managers, document control personnel, cost estimators, and support staff engineers.
We assist in identifying funding for project implementation. We are experienced in traditional funding, SIB loans, etc. We offer coordination services with the State through the TxDOT Commission to break denial of access for ingress, egress, utilities, etc.

After working with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for 30 years and the consulting industry for nine years, Gabe decided to invest his proven transportation experience to establish a new consulting company, AIG Tech. At TxDOT, Gabe started as an Engineering aide and went on to work as Construction project Supervisor, Houston District Hydraulic Engineer, Design support engineer, Plan/Review Engineer and district design engineer, and ultimately served for 14 years as TxDOT Houston District Director of Transportation Planning and Development. In this role, Gabe led the implementation of over $8 billion in infrastructure improvements, including guiding the environmental, right-of-way (ROW) acquisition, and final design of major highway corridors. He was also responsible for oversight of major investment studies and environmental impact statements for major corridors. While at TxDOT he developed a strong reputation for a results-driven approach in developing interagency partnerships and diplomatically working out complex agreements for successful and economical project implementation. These skills served him well in his nine years of private practice in charge of project teams that successfully delivered over a quarter billion dollars of projects. Gabe understands the complexities of large transportation programs and developing funding strategies to successfully deliver such programs in design-bid-build as well as design-build.
